Thank you to our Silver Spring community:
In the wake of the fire on February 18th, The Arrive Silver Spring
team sends our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of
Melanie Diaz and all of the residents who were affected by the
recent tragedy. We are deeply saddened at the loss of life and
injuries that occurred. Our leadership team has connected directly
with Ms. Diaz’s family to express our condolences and offer support
during this difficult time.
We want to thank the first responders who were instrumental in
helping residents evacuate to safety and supporting those in need
of medical attention. Our residents are our top priority and we are
committed to supporting and providing ongoing open communication
throughout this critical time.
County fire authorities have concluded their investigation of the
incident, and have determined that the fire was accidental and had
started in a seventh floor unit. We can confirm that all fire
systems within the building were in working order and were up to
date on all code and fire safety requirements. We understand
residents and community members may still have questions. Our team
has been working round the clock to support all of our residents,
including those who have been displaced as a result of smoke and
water damage.
We are committed to meeting and speaking with any resident who may
need assistance and have our office and phone lines open for
communication. Please visit our office from 9 AM to 2 PM (Mon, Wed,
Fri, Sat, & Sun), 2 PM to 7 PM (Tu & Th), or email us at
ArriveSilverSpring@trinity-pm.com to schedule a time to meet with
us and we will promptly get back to you.
